To be eligible for VFC, a child (age 0 to 18 years) must fit one of these categories:
Enrolled in Medicaid/Oregon Health Plan;
American Indian/Alaskan Native.
Appointments are available Tuesday through Thursday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Please call 503-434-7525 to schedule.
Please note: Yamhill County Public Health is not a Medicare provider. If you have any Medicare plan, no services given will be covered and payment will be your responsibility.
The updated vaccine is also readily available at local pharmacies such as Albertsons, Safeway, and Rite Aid. While the COVID-19 vaccines are no longer offered free, they are still available at low to no cost for most people living in the U.S. through their private health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid plans when received at a location within their health plan network.
The CDC's Bridge Access Program provides no-cost COVID-19 vaccines to adults without health insurance and adults whose insurance does not cover all COVID-19 vaccine costs. Learn more about this program (PDF).
