Civil Unit

The Civil Unit responds to all civil processes directed to the Sheriff, pursuant to ORS 206.010(3), including, but not limited to: Forcible Entry Detainers/Evictions, notice, civil subpoenas, Writs Of Garnishment, Restraining Orders, and various other court orders/documents.

Concealed Handgun Licenses

Under Oregon law (ORS 166), if you wish to carry a handgun* concealed upon your person, or concealed and readily accessible within a vehicle, you must have a concealed handgun license (CHL).

Dog Control

Yamhill County requires every person ​that owns or keeps a dog to obtain a license for their dog.
