Buy Nothing Project

This project was started in 2013 in Bainbridge Island, WA. It utilizes free social media platforms like Facebook in which members of the group can post unwanted items, lend items or ask for items within their surrounding community. Members can “ask” for or “give” items to other members. It a great project that keeps resources local and builds a sense of community. Local Facebook groups for Yamhill County include:
