Yamhill County parks and open spaces are unique natural, cultural, and historic places to be managed, preserved, and restored for people to enjoy outdoor recreation and educational activities.
Staff
Parks staff works out of Yamhill County Public Works, located at 2060 NE Lafayette Avenue, McMinnville, OR 97128.
Parks & Recreation Advisory Board Roles & Responsibilities
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board functions as the primary advisory body to the Board of County Commissioners on topics and subject matter directly related to the County Parks System.
Board Membership
Commitment: Board Members are appointed by the Yamhill County Board of Commissions to serve 4-year terms. The board meets on a monthly basis in McMinnville and there is some committee work. From time-to-time, there are vacancies on the Parks Board so if you have time to donate and an interest in helping grow and preserve out county parks, please contact Yamhill County Parks.

Parks & Recreation Board Meetings
Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm in the Public Works conference room in McMinnville. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Meetings may be rescheduled or canceled due to holidays or the lack of a quorum. To confirm the status of a meeting, please call 503-434-7463.
