Environmental Health Program
Environmental Health Program licenses and inspects multiple types of facilities.
Current programs include:
- Licensing and inspection of permanent food service establishments and mobile food units
- Licensing and inspection of temporary restaurants
- Food Service worker training
- Licensing and inspection of public swimming pools and spas
- Licensing and inspection of tourist facilities including bed and breakfasts
- Performing contract inspections for schools with USDA food programs
- Performing contract inspections on school food service facilities
- Performing contract inspections with Certified Daycare operators
- Performing Water System Surveys of small public water systems and assist operators of those systems with monitoring and compliance
- Enforcing environmental Health Statutes and Rules
