Alcohol and Drug Treatment
Overview
Yamhill County Substance Use Programs offer a wide array of treatment options and programs. Our highly trained and experienced Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselors specialize in working with each client to develop a comprehensive, individualized plan of recovery.
Screening
All individuals are offered a no-cost screening/orientation appointment to obtain information regarding programs we offer that may best meet their needs. This appointment is generally in a group setting with other individuals seeking treatment and may last up to 90 minutes. Some individual screening appointments are available for people in especially risky circumstances; please contact us for more information.
Cost of Treatment
We accept most private medical insurance plans and Oregon Health Plan (OHP). We offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify; this requires a separate individual appointment with our fee assessment specialist.
Assessment
One of our Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselors will assess your needs and your level of care in treatment. We can facilitate placement into a short-term detoxification program or inpatient treatment facility if needed, though sometimes there are waiting lists for these services.
Aftercare
Our agency goal is for a seamless transition into our outpatient treatment facility. We offer post-residential aftercare services, with an emphasis on continued relapse prevention and integration into the recovery community.
Cultural Services
All Yamhill County outpatient services are available for Spanish-speaking clientele. Services are provided by bicultural and culturally competent staff members and counselors. Our Spanish-speaking staff work very closely with culturally specific residential treatment programs in Oregon. We can easily facilitate a referral to a culturally appropriate inpatient program if a higher level of treatment is needed. Spanish-speaking services are available at both our Newberg and McMinnville offices.
