Yamhill County offers a Specialty Drug Court Program. With the support of the court system, this program has a dedicated staff of professional providers to assist clients in the successful accomplishment of Drug Court requirements. Participants can receive both mental health and substance use disorder services, if needed, and have access to medication assisted treatment (MAT). All participants choosing the program will work with the team to develop plans that are specific and unique to their particular needs and issues. The treatment courts work to help clients prioritize and address these issues in a timely, realistic, and effective manner. It is a highly specialized program lasting 12 to 18 months and serves (treats) long time criminal offenders. Participants are referred through the legal system.
