The Yamhill County Medical Reserve Corp (YCMRC) is a community-based volunteer group located in Yamhill County, Oregon. The group consists of local licensed healthcare professionals, students actively studying in the healthcare field, and those retired whose license is in good standing. These professionals are called upon to assist and respond to public health disasters and emergencies.
Mission of YCMRC
The mission of the Yamhill County Medical Reserve Corps is to improve the health and safety of people in local communities by organizing and training volunteer health professionals to assist in a public health or community crisis
Who Can Join?
Our volunteers may include (but are not limited to) the following types of healthcare workers:
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)
Mental Health Providers
Public Health Professionals
What YCMRC Volunteers Can Do
Assist local hospitals and health departments with surge personnel needs
Participate in community preparedness activities, such as exercises for shelters, mass prophylaxis, and vaccination clinics
Train with local emergency response partners
Assist Yamhill County Public Health with community health events
